How we compared these apps.
Who wrote this, where every fact came from, what we deliberately did not measure, and how to tell us we got something wrong.
Made by the KegelPro team. Here's how we compared, and what we'd tell you if we weren't.
This page exists so you do not have to take the table on trust. It says who wrote it, where every fact came from, what date it was read, what we deliberately did not measure, and how to tell us we got something wrong.
Who wrote this
The KegelPro team wrote this page, and KegelPro is one of the nine apps in the table. That is a conflict of interest and it does not go away because we mention it, so the page is built to be checked rather than believed: no scores, no rankings, no recommendation of ourselves, and a link on every cell so you can read the source instead of reading us.
Where the facts come from
Only pages the companies publish about themselves. In order of preference: the App Store or Google Play listing including its in-app-purchase list and its privacy label, then the company's own privacy policy and terms of service, then the company's marketing site. Apple's public lookup API supplies rating counts, because it returns an exact number where the store page shows a rounded badge.
Every cell in the table carries the link it came from and the date it was read. All of them were read on 5 September 2026.
What “Not published” means
It means we read the company's listing, its privacy policy, its terms and its site, and none of them answered the question. It does not mean the app lacks the feature, and it is not a criticism dressed up as a blank. But for anything you have to decide before paying — what the free tier includes, what a trial converts into, how you get out — an unanswered question is itself worth knowing, which is why we print it rather than dropping the row.
What we did not measure
We did not rank these apps, score them, or name a winner. We did not assess whether any of them works, ours included: this page is about what each company publishes, not about outcomes. We did not complete anyone's checkout, submit health answers into anyone's questionnaire, or enter payment details, so a price that appears only after a funnel is recorded as not published. And we did not use customer reviews as evidence about any company — a review is one person's account, and this page only carries things a company said about itself.
The eleven questions
Each row of the table answers one question, and the same question is asked of every app including ours.
| Row | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| Platforms | Which stores is it on today, and is there a website version? |
| What is free | What can you use without paying, in the listing's own words? "Free to download" is not an answer to this. |
| Account required | Does anything the company publishes say you have to sign up before you can train? |
| Where your data goes | What does the company's own privacy policy, or its store data label, say it collects, stores and shares? |
| Price, as published | Which plans and prices does the store or the company actually publish? |
| Trial and renewal | Is there a trial, how long is it, and what amount does the first period roll into? |
| How you cancel | What does the company publish about ending the subscription, and does the answer depend on where you bought it? |
| Program structure | Is there a numbered progression, and how long is a session? |
| Discreet use | Does the listing publish a silent or haptics-only mode, a neutral icon, or neutral notifications? |
| Strongest health claim on their own listing | What is the strongest health claim the company publishes about its own product? Quoted verbatim, reported and not judged. |
| Store rating | What rating, from how many ratings, on which store, on which date? |
Which apps are in, and why
An app is in the table if it is a kegel or pelvic floor app that a man searching either store would find, listed on the United States App Store or Google Play. Every app was read on the same day, from the same kinds of page, and asked the same eleven questions. One product is named on the comparison page rather than given a column of its own, and the reason is given there.
- KegelProOurs. A 25-level pelvic floor program for men. On Google Play since September 2026 and on the App Store since 20 September 2026.
- Dr. KegelAppercut Sp. z o.o. The category's largest paid-acquisition player. Sold both in the stores and through a web questionnaire, and the two routes have different cancellation paths.
- Kegel Trainer PFMOlson Applications Limited. The oldest app here, shipping since 2012. Free to use, with a disguised icon. Its Play listing says it is for men and women, so it is not a men's app in the way the rest of these are.
- Kegel Men: Men's HealthDGT Yazilim. A large men's app with a quiz-driven plan, community features and an AI coach. More than a million Android downloads.
- The CoachVAM Apps Co. A broad men's-health app — workouts, nutrition, meditations — with kegel work as one module inside it.
- Alpha: Kegel For MenHaznedar Teknoloji Limited Sirketi. A newer quiz-driven men's app on both stores, carrying the most expansive data-sharing declaration in the table.
- KegelX (DivaSoft)DivaSoft LLC. Listed as "Kegel Men Exercises | KegelX", and named here with its publisher because at least five different apps on the United States App Store answer to "KegelX", from five different companies. This is the one with meaningful traction.
- StamenaDrawdown Brands LLC. An iPhone-only men's app running since 2016, now subscription-only, and carrying the lowest store rating in the table.
- Senses: Kegel & Sex HealthSenses Media Ltd. A kegel and intimacy app for adults of any gender, and the only listing here that states outright that nothing at all works without a subscription.
Tell us we got it wrong
If a fact here is wrong or has gone stale, tell us and we will fix it and say what changed. That invitation is for the companies in the table as much as for readers: send us the page you publish that says otherwise and we will correct the cell to match it. Prices and ratings in this category move weekly, so a cell that disagrees with what you can see today is far more likely to be out of date than disputed — the date it was read is printed beside it.
